How to get to Mochima

There are three ways for visitors to get to Mochima from Maiquetia International Airport in Caracas. We can book flights and arrange guided transfers in each location. You have the following options:

Option 1: Caracas – Cumana – Mochima

A: Take a 2-hour bus journey from Caracas to Cumana

B: In Cumana have a private transfer to your destination.

PROS: This is a reasonable journey.

CONS: For many people it is rather uncomfortable to spend a long time travelling by bus, particularly through the mountains.

Option 2: Caracas – Cumana – Mochima (by air)

It is possible to fly from Caracas to Cumana

A: Fly from Caracas (CCS) to Cumana (CUM)

B: In Cumana have a private transfer to your destination.

PROS: This is the quickest way to get to your destination.

Option 3: Caracas – Mochima

A: Take a private transfer direct from the international airport to Mochima.

B: Private transport operates throughout the day until around 2100hrs.

PROS: This is the easiest and most convenient way to travel to and from Mochima.
