Gran Sabana Jeep Tour 4 Days
The mysterious, mist-shrouded Tepuis that inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to write the “Lost World” are some of the oldest rock formations on earth. Rising several thousand feet above the surrounding plains of Venezuela’s Gran Sabana, the near vertical, rose-coloured cliffs of these table-top mountains, from which sparkling waterfalls plunge into a dense ring of tropical forest, are a dramatic and inspiring sight.

Then we continue our journey for approximately 500km passing the mining villages of Upata, Guasipati, El Callao and Tumeremo where we will have lunch. Then the route passes El Dorado, Las Claritas and Kilómetre 88 where the ascent to Sierra de Lema begins. We will have a short stop in Piedra de la Virgen and El Soldado Pionero.
